Budget Billing

Budget billing helps you plan by making your monthly electric costs more predictable. If your ECI REC usage history is under 3,000 kWh, you may qualify for our budget billing option, which spreads your electricity costs into consistent monthly payments. Your monthly amount is based on your past 12-month usage at your service location or, if unavailable, the usage history of the previous occupant.

Throughout the year, ECI REC periodically reviews your account to ensure your payments remain aligned with your actual electricity use. This helps reduce the chance of a large debit or credit balance at year-end. You are always billed for the electricity you use, and your monthly statement will clearly show both your current usage charges and your budget billing amount.
