Energy Assistance/LIHEAP

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps eligible low-income households and senior citizens pay a portion of their winter heating costs. Assistance is based on several factors, including:

  • Household income 
  • Household size 
  • Type of fuel used for heating 
  • Type of housing
