Iowa Youth Leadership Academy

Rooted in our cooperative commitment to community, Iowa’s electric cooperatives are proud to offer rural students a virtual opportunity to explore advocacy, career paths in the electric cooperative industry, and the cooperative business model.

The Iowa Youth Leadership Academy is a three-part webinar series held in October. After registering online, students can attend each session from their own computer or mobile device. Each webinar lasts approximately 45–60 minutes, making it easy to participate from anywhere.

Bonus Incentives

  • At the end of each session, one lucky attendee will be randomly selected to win a $500 scholarship.
  • Students who attend both sessions will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship.
