CSR on phoneIf you’re having trouble paying your electric bill, please contact us as soon as possible at 877-850-4343 or visit our Urbana office during regular business hours. We offer several payment options and may be able to work with you to find a solution.

If we do not hear from you, your electric service may be subject to disconnection.

What to Expect if Your Payment Is Late

  • Late Fee - Payments not received by the 1st of the month will incur a 1.5% late fee on the outstanding balance.
  • Written Reminder - You will receive a notice with a final disconnection date, allowing 12 days to pay your past-due balance.
  • Phone Notification - If we have your current phone number, we may attempt to contact you regarding your account.
  • 24-Hour Disconnect Notice - A notice will be posted at your service location 24 hours before disconnection. A trip charge will be added to your account.
  • Disconnection - If payment or approved payment arrangements are not made within the 24-hour notice period, service will be disconnected. An additional trip charge will apply.
  • Reconnection - Service will be restored once the past-due balance and applicable fees are paid. Reconnection charges will apply.
