The Iowa Stray Voltage Guide outlines practical steps that farmers, electricians, utilities, and their advisers can take to identify and resolve stray voltage concerns on livestock farms. When farmers and electric utilities work collaboratively, concerns are more likely to be addressed effectively and satisfactorily.

This guide was developed through a collaborative effort by Alliant Energy, the Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives, the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, and the Iowa State Dairy Association.
